By Adam Baskin: Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) feels he did enough to have been given the victory over undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs), but found himself on the receiving end of a controversial 12 round unanimous decision on Saturday night in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Lomachenko took the fight road after the fight, refusing to say he was robbed, but he did say that the boxing fans witnessed what transpired inside the ring in his bout against Haney. They can judge for themselves.

In the eyes of the people at ringside and on social media, Lomachenko did enough to win. The judges, however, gave the win to Haney by the scores 115-113, 115-113, and 116-112.
When asked about his thoughts on Haney’s skills and talent, Lomchenko says he’s not a pound-for-pound fighter. Haney has been calling himself that and said that victory over Lomaachenko would earn him that distinction.
Bernardo Osuna: “What did you think about tonight’s results? Do you feel you deserve to be undisputed champion tonight?” said Osuna to Top Rank Boxing at ESPN.
Vasily Lomachenko: “I don’t want to talk about this. All people saw what happened today.”
Osuna: “We talked about the size. We talked about the age. What was it tonight that made you look the way you did? What fueled your fire?”
Lomachenko: “I showed that I can be in boxing. I’m in good shape, and I see you next time.”
Osuna: “Do you believe your dream of being undisputed was stolen from you last night?”
Lomachenko: “I can’t talk about this right now. It’s not a comfortable moment for me.”
Osuna: “How good is Devin Haney? You’ve been in with the best. How good is Devin Haney?”
Lomachenko: “Everything was in the rules. It was clean.”
Osuna: “But in terms of his skills. His jab, his length. What did you think of Devin Haney as a boxer tonight?”
Lomachenko: “Before, I thought he would be better. But right now, I think he’s a top fighter, he’s a good fighter, but he’s not a pound-for-pound fighter.”
Osuna: “Finally, the future for you. 135, where you are smaller or 130. What is next for you because you’re one of the dominant 130-pounders ever?”
Lomachenko: “Right now, I want to come back home and support my Ukrainian orthodox church.”
